AAAY Chaplain Services
Our Chaplain for Angels All Around You provides compassionate spiritual and emotional support to individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease, brain injury, neurological conditions, and challenges faced by serious illness.
Aligned with our mission of research, advocacy, and access to quality care, our Chaplain walks alongside patients, caregivers, veterans, and families during times of illness, trauma, grief, loss, and transition. Services include confidential spiritual guidance, prayer, and grief support to anyone seeking help or for those in need of a friendly person to talk with.
Our Chaplain serves people of all faiths and backgrounds, as well as those who do not identify with a particular faith tradition, with dignity, compassion, respect, and without judgment.
Through this ministry, Angels All Around You recognizes that caring for people affected by serious illness and neurological conditions means supporting not only their medical needs, but also the emotional, spiritual, and human needs of patients and the people who love and care for them.
Meet Father Cesar Tolentino

Father Cesar Tolentino is a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Antipolo in the Philippines who has carried out an extensive pastoral ministry in New Jersey. He served as parochial vicar at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Maple Shade and assisted with parish ministry at St. Peter Parish in Merchantville. Fr. Cesar served in the United States under an agreement between his home Diocese of Antipolo and the host American bishop, allowing him to help fill the need for extra clergy hands while maintaining formal attachment to the Philippines.
During COVID, Fr. Cesar became a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) so he could provide personal care, hygiene assistance, and basic health monitoring for patients in homes under registered nurse supervision. For New Jersey certification, he completed a state-approved 76-hour training course, passing a competency exam, and clearing a background check. He met the Borie Family in 2021 when they sought part-time caregiving assistance in their home. As full-time care was needed, Father Cesar committed to serve the family as a live-in care giver as an extension of his ministry of care and spiritual guidance.
His ministry to individuals and families experiencing illness, grief, and other life transitions, continues today in his role as Chaplain. Father Cesar offers spiritual guidance, compassion, and a commitment to service to all who seek counseling and support through Angels All Around You.
